The Professional Education Advisory Committee (PEAC) provides advice and guidance to the IMU on matters relating to the education and training of students enrolled in the professional undergraduate, postgraduate and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
More about PEAC
Its main responsibility is to ensure that the IMU has an effective and continuous processes in place to produce and maintain educational programmes of the highest quality.
The PEAC works closely with the Deans of the various faculties and submits an annual report to the Board of Governors.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) exists to help students make their time at IMU, the best years of their life.
More about SRC
Aside from helping to build strong relationships between staff and students, the SRC assists students in a wide range of issues that are important to them. These include social, welfare or academic concerns. It also helps promote activities that build community, such as sports, cultural activities and other campaigns.
Each council member in the SRC is assigned to a particular section of the IMU experience. We have 16 council members in our Bukit Jalil Campus, and separate councils for our Clinical Campuses.
The Senate is the highest academic body of the University and is responsible for University-wide policies. It is here that proposed changes in the practices and structure of the IMU are deliberated.
